When Matt made the decision to follow Christ, he began a discipling relationship with the husband of a long-time TTR staff member. He loved praying with people and was passionate to share his new faith with others but didn’t feel confident in articulating the Gospel message. In October 2018, Matt was invited to go to reviveFLORIDA :: Tampa. It was during this time he felt fully equipped and empowered by the Holy Spirit to reach others for Christ. A few months later, Matt felt called to travel with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) to Australia for a Discipleship Training School. His six months with YWAM helped Matt learn more about the heart of God and what discipleship really looks like. Upon his return to the States, Matt knew God was leading him to join TTR and continue his mission to share the love of Christ with others.

Matt lives in Dallas, TX. He really enjoys nature, just being able to be outside gives him joy. Matt has training as a fire-fighter and EMT. He’s worked as a ranch hand and is currently learning carpentry. Matt likes to fish and hunt and goes hiking and camping whenever he can.
