In 2018, Chris felt called to actively share her faith, but asked God to train her. That spring, Joel and Chris learned about Time to Revive in Mountain Lake, MN. They were awakened and activated spiritually! Chris joined TTR as a volunteer and a year later joined the staff as a graphic designer. 

In April 2021, Joel and Chris shared their testimony at Chris’s home church in New Holland, SD. After seeing how Jesus had changed their lives, the local churches invited TTR to South Dakota. God used those events to create a desire in Joel to join the ministry. 

Chris has a heart for youth to encounter Jesus and to encourage believers. Joel is passionate about equipping leaders to do the good works which God has prepared for them. Together they love to see Acts 4:13 lived out: ordinary people being equipped by the Holy Spirit to boldly share the Gospel and do extraordinary things to further God’s Kingdom.

They live in Windom, MN, and have 4 children. Prior to TTR, Joel served as General Manager at POET Bioprocessing. Chris managed graphics for the Good Samaritan Society, freelanced, and owned a vintage home décor business. Their family enjoys movies, traveling, camping, kayaking, and outdoor adventures.
