Michael was a part of the original Dallas Revival, the 40-day tent revival in 2007 that marked the beginning of Time to Revive. Michael acknowledges that the invitation for him to “come and see” was a divine appointment. At the time though, he had no idea how big a role TTR would play in his life. In 2012 Michael led a small group of men up to Michigan for reviveFLINT, and later in 2012 he was the instigator for Time to Revive engaging his own hometown of Asheville, North Carolina for reviveASHEVILLE. Michael now serves as a spiritual advisor for Time to Revive as a member of the Mordecai Round Table. Michael’s passion for TTR comes from seeing lives impacted for the Lord, both those who are led to Christ and those who are serving Him by sharing the Gospel. Michael loves how Time to Revive trusts and listens to the Lord and works to equip believers to share the Good News.
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Michael now lives in Asheville, North Carolina, but holds firmly to the belief, “Once a Texan, always a Texan!” Michael studied Business Management at Baylor University and is an entrepreneur in the field of sales and marketing. Michael’s nickname is “Q” and he admits to being a big kid at heart. He enjoys traveling with his wife Sharlin and loves to go biking, both on the roads and through the mountains.
