What We Believe

"The word 'revive' wears its meaning upon its forehead; it is from the Latin, and may be interpreted thus—to live again, to receive again a life which has almost expired; to rekindle into a flame the vital spark which was nearly extinguished. To be revived is a blessing which can only be enjoyed by those who have some degree of life."

- Charles Spurgeon

Creed

I’m part of the fellowship of the unashamed, The die has been cast, I have stepped over the line The decision has been made – I’m a disciple of Jesus Christ. I won’t look back, let up, slow down, back away or be still.

My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, my future is secure. I’m finished and done with low living, sight walking, smooth knees, colorless dreams, Tamed vision, worldly talking, cheap giving and dwarfed goals.

My face is set, my gait is fast, my goal is heaven, My road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions are few, my guide is reliable, my mission is clear. I won’t give up, shut up, let up until I have stayed up, stored up, prayed up for the cause of Jesus Christ.

I must go till He comes, give till I drop, preach till everyone knows, Work till He stops me, and when He comes for His own, He will have no trouble recognizing me because My banner will have been clear.

“For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”

Romans 1:16

Statement Of Faith

1 There is one God In three persons God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

2 God is revealed in the Holy Word, the Bible. The words of the Bible are powerful, transformative, and true.

3 The Word declares that God created all things and that humanity was made in God’s likeness.

4 Humanity chose to rebel against God, and this choice ushered in a curse of sin upon humanity and destruction on the world.

5 God did not abandon humanity, but instead He sent Jesus into the world to save humanity from the curse.

6 Jesus died on the cross to offer the rescue from the curse.

7 Humanity’s curse and punishment became His, though He was innocent.

8 Jesus was buried and His followers mourned, But on the third day, He rose up from death in victory;

9 And those who believe in Jesus are members of His eternal kingdom.

10 Jesus now dwells with God in heaven, sitting at His right hand, Having sent His Holy Spirit into the world.

11 The Holy Spirit now works in humanity through those who believe by faith, Revealing God’s truth and direction,

12 Sealing us in God’s love and promise of eternal life;

13 The work of the Holy Spirit empowers individuals and the corporate Church,

14 Perfecting and freeing believers to become more like Christ,

15 Giving believers gifts with which to reveal the Truth.

16 The followers of Jesus have a message of hope to share,

17 And as they live as disciples, they ought to lead and disciple others to God.

18 God is the giver of life

19 And revival is necessary to those who do not exhibit life and active faith,

20 To awaken them to the living truth and the presence of God.

21 Jesus will return soon to judge the living and the dead.

22 Those judged righteous by faith will inherit a new, perfect kingdom.

23 Those who chose not to put faith in Jesus will be separated from Him.

He comes quickly, and the time is now to awaken the world to His truth.
